About the Role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join our team here at Core Outreach & Care Services. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the Care Quality Commission's (CQC) homecare and domiciliary care regulations and guidelines and providing the best possible outcome of service provision.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

Draft quality assurance policies and procedures in line with CQC guidelines and ensure regular updates of policies.
Write and present quarterly quality assurance reports and make recommendations based on findings for operational directorates.
Design and monitor action plans arising from service quality reviews, reports, and audits
Undertake periodic medication and contact notes audits and address issues where applicable
Monitor service user's care provision through telephone calls monitoring and make sure service users are getting the required care according to their needs
Ensure that risk assessments and reviews are done periodically, and care plans are updated accordingly.
Investigate service users and other team players' internal and external complaints to address non-conformance to safeguarding protocols and design a proper feedback system.
Attend internal and external quality-related reviews, seminars and training required to ensure services are delivered according to current guidelines
Develop and deliver training packages relating to quality service provision to ensure compliance with Core Outreach guidelines
Ensure employee conformance and compliance with quality assurance protocols and Core Outreach guidelines
Enforce proper data and documentation management processes to safeguard service users' confidentiality
Evaluate implemented quality standard systems and collaborate with other professionals in the provision of care

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in any health-related subject required. A master's degree will be an added advantage
Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and evaluation
Industry-specific experience
Knowledge of CQC regulations and guidelines regarding care provision and that of other regulators involved.
Data analysis skills
Proficient user of Microsoft Office

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK

  • Must be able to commute to the Enfield office
